Unser Mitglied stellt sich vor:
ProduktgruppenUltraFast Innovations GmbH (UFI®) was founded in 2009 as a spin-off from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) and the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics (MPQ), in particular from the groups of Professors Ferenc Krausz and Ulf Kleineberg. Our roots date back to the inception of chirped mirrors in the 1990s. From the beginning, Prof. Krausz and colleagues pioneered chirped mirror technology and attosecond pulse generation. Over the years, much experience in the theoretical design, reliable manufacture and thorough testing of optics has been accumulated. This experience has been crucially helpful in numerous innovations; for instance, in the generation of laser pulses with a duration of three femtoseconds. It was also the key ingredient in achieving some of the shortest light pulses ever created, at a duration of 80 attoseconds. We furthermore developed characterization instruments, that we now commercialize. Now, we are making this experience available to our customers.
