Vistec AG was founded in 2000. At that time, the company took over support for several thousand users of Rodenstock vision testing devices.  Since then, new products have been added, such as the Perivist Compact II perimeter—specifically designed for occupational and traffic medicine—the highly innovative Optovist II vision tester for adults and children, and the Corporal Plus psychometric testing system for traffic psychology evaluations. The ability to offer all devices for traffic medicine—vision testers, perimeters, and test systems—from a single source gives Vistec AG a leading position in the German market. Its customers include inter-company services such as B.A.D. GmbH, IAS, and AMD TÜV; the occupational health services of BG Bau and Dekra; the occupational health services of major corporations such as Allianz, BMW, BASF, Porsche, and Siemens; as well as many independent occupational physicians, specialists in occupational medicine, and public health departments.

Thanks to its reliability and expertise, the company has now gained a strong reputation in the niche market of “preventive medicine.”
