SPECTARIS is a member of Eurom – Optical Industries, the European umbrella organization for the optical industry.
Here, we work closely with our partner associations in France, Greece, the United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, and Spain. This network is complemented by our partner association in the United States. By taking an active role in shaping our work, we are able to anticipate developments in European legislation at an early stage, help shape them, and keep our members informed. In this way, we also safeguard the interests of our member companies and advocate on their behalf.

Research Association for Precision Mechanics, Optics, and Medical Technology (F.O.M.)
We work in partnership with the Research Association for Precision Mechanics, Optics, and Medical Technology (F.O.M.), which is headquartered here in our building. It promotes technology transfer within the framework of the Industrial Joint Research Program (IGF). Research topics in the fields of consumer optics, photonics, medical technology, and bio- and analytical technology are funded with public funds (from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the German Association of Industrial Research Organizations (AiF)).
