With subsidiaries in Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Argentina, the U.S., and China, as well as more than 80 international representatives, SCHMITZ operates worldwide. Its distribution partners are specialty medical equipment retailers.

A total of approximately 195 employees work at the company’s two Westphalian locations in Wickede (Ruhr) and Bönen. This includes numerous apprentices, the vast majority of whom are offered permanent employment after successfully passing their exams.
