POG Präzisionsoptik Gera GmbH, with a current workforce of 170 employees, develops, manufactures, and distributes custom-designed, precision optical parts, components, and devices for the entire optical spectrum.

The product portfolio ranges from classic precision optical components to microstructured optics and complex optical and optoelectronic systems, which are primarily used in the fields of measurement technology and industrial image processing, medical, laser, and space technology, as well as in the semiconductor industry, sports optics, and military optics.

Microstructured Optics (slit plates and reticles, resolution tests, calibration plates, surface defect templates, micro-apertures, scales, and rulers)

Individual Optical Components (Planar optics, spherical optics, prisms, ground glass screens, chucks, color filter glasses, custom coatings)

• POG has access to a large fleet of machinery with a high degree of vertical integration for the manufacture of individual optical components made from various types of glass and other optical materials, designed to meet the most demanding requirements—far exceeding those of standard catalog optics.
• Using state-of-the-art coating technology, we apply standard anti-reflective coatings and mirror coatings, as well as coatings developed specifically to meet your requirements.

Custom lens and assembly development as well as manufacturing and assembly in small batches

• With many years of experience in optical design and our in-house optical manufacturing capabilities, the POG team develops customized solutions for your product ideas and brings them to life effectively and efficiently—from design through prototyping to mass production.
