Company Profile:
OBERON Fiber Technologies develops and manufactures specialized fiber-optic probes for minimally invasive laser medicine and medical diagnostics, as well as for optical measurement technology in sensor and analytical applications. The product portfolio includes fiber-optic probes and specialized assemblies for the transmission of visible and invisible light. Development and manufacturing are focused on two technological applications: power transmission (laser beam guidance) and measurement data acquisition and transmission.
As a medical device manufacturer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM), OBERON Fiber Technologies develops and produces medical laser probes for numerous medical specialties, including venous surgery, urology, cosmetic surgery, dermatology, orthopedics, dentistry, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, gynecology, pulmonology, and otolaryngology. The medical laser probes are designed for the wavelength range of 260 nm to 2100 nm. Laser energy transmission is optimized for pulsed and continuous-wave (CW) lasers, such as argon, KTP/532, Ho-YAG, Nd:YAG, thulium, and diode lasers.
OBERON Fiber Technologies develops and manufactures fiber-optic probes for spectroscopy in the UV-VIS-NIR wavelength ranges from 190 nm to 2200 nm. For various applications in spectroscopy, sensor technology, and analytical technology, we manufacture multi-arm fiber bundles, cross-sectional adapters, reflection probes, transmission probes, and vacuum feedthroughs. The portfolio includes intrinsic sensors for infrared, near-infrared, and Raman spectroscopy used to analyze solids, liquids, gases, and powders, as well as extrinsic sensors for measuring geometric and dynamic parameters.
OBERON Fiber Technologies is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 and is authorized to affix the CE mark in accordance with the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC, as well as being approved by the FDA.
