Company Profile:
Menicon, headquartered in Nagoya, southwest of Tokyo, was founded in 1951 by Kyoichi Tanaka. Since then, Menicon has expanded its presence to more than 30 countries worldwide and, as Japan’s leading contact lens manufacturer, covers all areas of contact lenses and contact lens care products.

Research, development, and production related to contact lenses take place in Menicon’s own laboratories. This allows Menicon to ensure that the properties of the materials and the manufacturing process are precisely coordinated.

Menicon's top priority is to ensure both the health and safety of the eyes for all contact lens wearers. Since 1997, Menicon has been manufacturing Z Material, the world's most oxygen-permeable material.
