Lunor AG
Introducing our member:
Product CategoriesLunor AG is known among eyewear connoisseurs as a high-quality manufacturer. Understatement not only characterizes the brand’s design but also serves as the company’s unspoken guiding principle. As a highly specialized eyewear manufacturer with a broad reach, Lunor has been producing classic frames “made in Germany” for 30 years now, which are highly regarded internationally.
The brand gained worldwide recognition in 2011 due to increased media attention surrounding the late Apple founder Steve Jobs. His rimless glasses, which he wore without fail for 14 years, were made by Lunor and evolved from a niche model into a cult object.
The collection includes frames made of stainless steel, titanium, and acetate, as well as exclusive lines crafted from 18-karat gold and natural horn. From the first sketch to the final hand-polishing, each frame requires approximately 200 steps—a dedication to detail that pays off and bears fruit worldwide. Lunor is available in nearly 40 countries. In addition to Germany, the top-performing markets include the U.S., South Korea, France, and Japan.
This success comes with a responsibility: for many years, Lunor has been committed to sustainable solutions and fair production conditions. Thanks to significant efforts and investments—including in a largely self-sufficient corporate headquarters in the Black Forest—the eyewear manufacturer has been the first company in the industry to call itself 100% climate-neutral since 2018.
