The roots of LASOS Lasertechnik GmbH lie in the early days of commercial laser manufacturing by Siemens and Zeiss. LASOS was founded following the transfer of laser manufacturing from Siemens to Zeiss and a subsequent management buyout. Under the motto “LASOS – For worldwide photonics,” the company’s 100 employees are dedicated to the challenging task of manufacturing high-performance, reliable, and high-quality lasers to the complete satisfaction of their customers. Since its founding, LASOS has developed into a leading OEM supplier of lasers and laser systems for use in high-precision instruments, particularly in the fields of biophotonics and metrology. The focus is on the custom development and manufacturing of laser modules and subsystems for application-specific system solutions.
