Company Profile
LASER COMPONENTS provides components for laser technology and optoelectronics—mostly developed to customer specifications and often manufactured in-house. In addition to its own products, the company offers components from select premium suppliers.

The company employs over 150 people worldwide in sales, administration, and production. In-house manufacturing encompasses the divisions of laser optics, avalanche photodiodes, pulsed laser diodes, laser modules, photon counters, and the assembly of optical fibers.

Of particular note is the optical coating division, which has been continuously expanded since 1986: Using state-of-the-art equipment, we can achieve the highest destruction thresholds with short lead times—even for custom products. Word of this has spread worldwide. To be able to produce one-off items even faster, we established our own optics manufacturing facility for lens production in early 2008. Since then, our customers have benefited from pilot-series production within the shortest possible time.

COUNT on LASER COMPONENTS. Since 2010, photon counters have been manufactured in Olching: featuring the lowest dark count rates and the highest quantum efficiency. Close collaboration among internal departments ensured the creation of an outstanding product.

The fiber-optic production facility is currently being prepared for CE Med certification in accordance with DIN 13485.
