About Kowa
Kowa Optimed Deutschland GmbH is part of Kowa Company, Ltd., one of the largest family-owned companies in Japan. Kowa’s Electro-Optical Division began producing lenses as early as the 1940s. Binoculars, spotting scopes, and cameras were added to the lineup shortly thereafter.

Top Quality and a Wide Selection
From the very beginning, Kowa has positioned itself in the high-end quality segment with its optical products. To this day, most Kowa optical products are designed and manufactured in Japan.

Photonics:
Over the years, Kowa has steadily expanded its overall range of lenses for machine vision, CCTV/security applications, and traffic monitoring (ITS). In these areas, Kowa now offers one of the most comprehensive portfolios on the market.

Consumer Optics:
Our customers enjoy a truly exceptional viewing experience when using Kowa Prominar spotting scopes featuring a lens made of pure fluorite crystal. These are complemented by over 20 different binocular models, a range of super-wide-angle MFT lenses, and comprehensive digiscoping systems capable of achieving focal lengths of over 3,000 mm.

Close to the Customer
Kowa has been represented in Europe with a sales and service office since the 1980s. Kowa Optimed Deutschland GmbH serves the European market from its location in Düsseldorf. Most optical and sports optics products are in stock in Düsseldorf and can be delivered within a few days. Short and reliable delivery times, as well as close coordination with customers regarding new developments and customizations, are hallmarks of the company’s clear focus on European customer needs.
