Company Profile:
INFICON GmbH, headquartered in Cologne, develops, manufactures, and distributes instruments and equipment for leak testing. For example, an INFICON leak detector is so highly sensitive that it can detect a gas leak of less than one millionth of a gram. 

Helium, multigase, and refrigerant leak detectors play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality and greater safety in production processes across various market segments—from the automotive and food industries to refrigeration and air conditioning technology, and on to the manufacture of semiconductors and solar systems. Maintenance tools from the Service Tools product line assist technicians in building services and auto repair shops with repairs and installations.

In addition, INFICON offers expert service and application consulting.

INFICON manufactures leak testers exclusively to customer specifications. This results in approximately 100 product variants, which—thanks to the high flexibility of the production process—are available for delivery in just three to four days.

The high quality and reliability of INFICON products are based on a process control system and quality philosophy that are firmly integrated into the company. INFICON has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001 for many years.

INFICON was founded in 2000 as a spin-off. The Cologne plant employs approximately 270 people.
