Material compliance refers to the recognition and implementationof all environmental and material-related laws and regulations—such as REACH and RoHS—as well as the relevant internal and external binding guidelines. Failure to comply with these regulatory frameworks can lead to significant liability risks and damage to a company’s reputation. To ensure safety and increase corporate value, it is necessary to establish effective material compliance structures. Within a company, this means:
· to raise employees' awareness of compliance issues and provide them with training
· to ensure the implementation of and compliance with both legal and customer-specific requirements
· to establish company-wide transparency and integrity.
SPECTARIS, in collaboration with tec4U-Solutions, is therefore offering two online seminars—one introductory and one advanced—on the topic of material compliance.
The Advanced Training Course on Material Compliance on July 9, 2026, is based on the requirements of DIN EN IEC 63000 for implementing material compliance. The standard specifies the procedures manufacturers must follow to ensure compliance with globally applicable legal restrictions on substances. The full-day course is workshop-based with a practical focus. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss questions and challenges related to the practical implementation of material compliance regulations and receive guidance.
