APE – Asia Photonics Expo 2027

The Asia Photonics Expo (APE) is Asia’s leading platform for photonics innovations and will take place from March 3 to 5, 2027, at the renowned Sands Expo and Convention Center (Marina Bay Sands) in Singapore. APE 2027 is expanding its format and, for the first time, will be presented as a triple-expo consisting of:

  • Asia Photonics Expo – Focus on optical communications, optics, lasers, sensor technology, infrared, and quantum technologies
  • Asia Semiconductor Expo – The entire semiconductor supply chain, from design to manufacturing to packaging
  • Asia Embedded & Electronics Expo – Embedded Systems and Electronics Solutions

With approximately 400 exhibitors spread across 15,000 square meters, APE 2027 offers a comprehensive overview of the photonics industry in the Asia-Pacific region. The 2026 trade show already attracted over 5,500 trade visitors and 353 exhibitors. The supporting program includes networking events such as a gala dinner, business matchmaking, and plant tours.

As Asia’s leading technology and innovation hub, Singapore offers German companies an ideal gateway to the growing markets of Southeast Asia. At the joint booth “Photonics+ Europe powered by IVAM, EPIC & W3+,” German companies have the opportunity to position themselves with a strong European presence.
